The exquisite cylinder chronograph by Matthäus Hipp (c. 1864), housed at the Museo della Specola in Palermo, has been loaned to the Musée international d’horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This historic scientific instrument will be displayed as a highlight of the exhibition “From Stars to Atoms”, scheduled to run from 21 June to 2 November 2026.
